Can you give me good african american hair style advice?

Hi, I've been searching for a new hairstyle for months and cant find anything. I have like a medium length of african american hair thats layered. I also took down my hair from having zillions , a few months ago, for almost a year so i'm not really loking to go that route. I want to dye my hair but my mom wont let me, so i was thinking about a weave thats a different color from my hair, but i dont know....BTW I'm 14 going on 15 so keep that in mind.
