I use leave in conditioners since im notvery good at oiling my hair and every two to three wks use hot oil treatment....it really depends on what type of hair you have and what type of hair style you are trying to maintain.... i also use a tar grease that i leave in my hair for one-three days that puts nutrients back in my hair and makes it soft and shiny but its smells strong
I use dream gro on my scalp and ends. It smells good, its light and it keeps my hair soft and manageable. Hope that helps!

Try to buy the products your hairdresser uses. When I used to get my hair done I asked them what products are you using and what do they do and I went to the Beauty Supply store and purchased them. Also wrap your hair up in a scarf nightly. It depends on how do you wear your hair?
dont add too much heat to your hair. It dries it out. use silk scarves/wraps at night and try not wear hair bands too tight.
