I have hair on my shoulders. I can't figure out what hair style to wear for Christmas and I also have a curling iron. any suggestions?I have mid length hair and its a mid brown with blond highlights,what hair style for Christmas?

Step 1. Before you start styling your hair, your hair must be free of any product. If you haven't already, wash your hair. Hair works best if it has dried naturally vs a blowdryer. I find that showering the night before is a great help. If you must, towel dry your hair for about 5-15 minutes, depending on how much time you have to spare. After that time, you can now blowdry, before you do, spray some heat protectant on your hair, and brushing it in. Allow it to dry for about 2 minutes, and blowdry. I recommend Tresseme Thermal Heat Guard, which is rather cheap, around $4 to 6. If you use a CHI flat iron, you should be using Chi Iron Guard 44, which is about $14.


Step 2. If your hair is wavy or curly, gently brush it out and straighten slightly. You don't want it to be completely straight, however make sure your top layers on your scalp are straight. Apply some heat protection, such as the brands suggested above.


Step 3. After that, time for some body waves. Using anything from half an inch to a 1'; barrel curling iron (a 1'; flat iron works fine too), start curling your hair with a medium setting. Selena's hair isn't ridiculously straight in this, so don't go for the highest temperature setting and leave it in too long.


Step 4. If you have bangs, part them down the middle of your head and clip any hanging bangs if needed. Bangs are not necessary for this guide.


Step 5. Add some hairspray if you need, but be careful not to apply too much. Top it off with some anti-frizz serum if you have flyaways or frizzies.


Now you're done!
