How do you set up the ';shaggy'; long male hair style?

I currently have a buzz cut, but I want to grow out a nice looking shaggy look. How do I go about ';setting'; it up for the shaggy look?





Should I just let it grow out and then go to my hair stylist?





****** Also, I have really really thick hair, so can hair stylists make my hair a lot thinner while still keeping the length when it's grown out?

ewwwwwww sorry but the shaggy hair style is gross. I don't think it does anything for boys/men at all. Shave it all off or something. It's like the greesy hair i see on some lads! Of course just let it grow while every so often keep getting layers and get it thinned out they have thinenning scissors any for that anyway.
Yes,just grow it out and then go to a stylist at a salon and yes they can thin out your hair also.
