Back in the 70's all the girls had the Farrah Faucette hair going on.What hair style was popular when you were in high school??
80's was BIG curly hair. It's a wonder we're not all bald from all those home perms! What hair style was popular when you were in high school??
Big bangs that stuck straight up. The higher they were, the hotter you were. The rest was worn long and either curled beyond recognition or ';crimped';.
(For those of you not familiar, it was a technique that involved using a flat-iron of sorts to put potato-chip style ridges in otherwise healthy, straight hair. The breakage following a few months of this procedure? Unbelievable.)
Keeping up with this trend required holding a part-time job just so you could afford the required amount of Aqua Net.
BTW -- I graduated in 1989.
i, uh, AM in high school now?
but yeah, last year the popular trend was bangs. full bangs, not side ones. it was cute as first, but then it got boring cause everyone copied. but not me, haha. i was original!
this year, i'm seeing rebonded hair with layers. side bangs are coming in as well.
strange.
at my school it was the ponytail...........may it be high ponytail or a low one , almost everyone sported it............n mostly everyone had the razor cut for a hair cut, except for one or two who had step cut...................these days bangs are really in..........i jus love 'em
At my school, the popular hairstyle is girls having fringe of different styles and the fringe tend to cover their eyes, so they always adjust it...
Back in the late 60s it was all about the greasy look.
Mine was DEAD straight. Kinks were sooo bad at the time!
Now i prefer volume and curls
xx
