What type of hair style should i get for prom?

I like the whole ';scene/emo'; styles where its cut into choppy layers and you tease it, so thats what I have done. I have black hair with pink highlights and cut into choppy layers. My boyfriends mom is taking me to get my hair styled for prom but im not sure what to have done. I feel bad about her paying but still... So I want somethingg cheap but what can I get with this hair?What type of hair style should i get for prom?
So i hate labels but i totally get wut you mean. You had to explain it so wtf. Anyways I think you should leave it down just have them style it. Like bangs and ask for more choppy layers. Well we don't know what you look like, who you are, what kind of hair you have, or any of that. So why ask a bunch of strangers on the internet when you can ask your friends, family, and your hair stylist?! That would be a better idea than to waste space on yahoo answers.
Maybe up in a bun, you know, where some of your hair just ';hangs'; from your head. That's really cute, and you could actually do it yourself.
