I have long, straight, blonde hair. It has a middle parting, and i usually flip it a lot to give it volume. I don't have curling irons and stuff, but if any hairstyle ideas you have for me involve waves or curls, leaving my hair in plaits is very affective.
Anyway, I like doing stuff with my hair, but I have only tiny bits of sample hairspray and colours. Can you give me some pretty hairstyle tips, or maybe a few links to videos or something.

when i had really long hair i would go different kinds of braids and buns. you can go swedish babe style and wrap braids around your head, but make it a little messy and undone. guys always seem to like those type of styles (in my experience) but not sure why,

Not sure what type of hair you already have or length, so I am going to assume medium length I guess.
I just got my hair cut to my chin and love it. I was bored with longer hair and actually, its alot more fun to play with. I just got it cut angled so the front is slightly longer (to my chin) and the back barely noticelby shorter, because I gave a round face and chin length hair looks best. I got some soft layers so the curls are natural.
So heres something you can do with any length hair if you do not do it already. When you hair id damp (or use a spray bottle and dampen it slightly), scrunch with moose and blow dry, part of the time with your head down and blow dry underneath for body all while scrunching (or you can let it dry naturally too). This creates a nice wavy look, and it is one of the easiest looks to achieve.
Now for updos, one of my favorite things to do is make a ponytail with a thin elastic hair tie (perferably clear, you get them at Wal-Mart), then take a small section of the hair and twist around the ponytail and secure. Then take another small section and do it in the opposite direction. Do this until all your hair is pinned up, and messy looking is ok. It may take some practice getting the pins to stay especially if your hair is layered, but once you get it down, it takes 3-5 minutes tops.
When I had longer hair, I would also do this. It works with wet or dry hair. Take your hair at the nape of your neck and twist up, then pin it down along with any extra pieces that may fall out (or leave them out, can look really good too). I pull some bangs or side pieces out too. If your hair is wet, it usually drys fairly sraight, frizz free with a slight wave to it.Cute easy todo hair styles?
If your hair is curly let in hang loose, But if it is straight try braids or a simple bun. You could do what i do which is twists and then curled! I hope i helped

I use leave in conditioners since im notvery good at oiling my hair and every two to three wks use hot oil treatment....it really depends on what type of hair you have and what type of hair style you are trying to maintain.... i also use a tar grease that i leave in my hair for one-three days that puts nutrients back in my hair and makes it soft and shiny but its smells strong
I use dream gro on my scalp and ends. It smells good, its light and it keeps my hair soft and manageable. Hope that helps!

Try soft layers, they make your face appear slimmer. I have a semi-round face, and find that sideswept bangs work really well too. =]

Try soft layers, they make your face appear slimmer. I have a semi-round face, and find that sideswept bangs work really well too. =]

My hair looks fine the first day after I wash and style it, but from the second day on it looks dry and shapeless. I try to wash it every 3 or 4 days (roughly twice a week), but not every day, because I have fine hair. How often do you wash/style your hair? I've got platinum blonde hair right now (with beige mixed in) and because it's so heavily processed I don't wash it more than a couple times a week either, to keep it from getting dry and frizzy.
I also avoid blow drying if I can, because it dries out the hair, too. So, day one I wash, let it air dry as much as I can, then when there's just a bit of dampness to it I'll blow it dry on cool air setting on my hair dryer. I have ionic curlers, which also do not damage the hair, so I will roll curlers in my hair next and let that 'set' for 10-15 minutes, comb them out, spray a bit of hairspray. That's typically day one.
Day two I can either just comb and go (the curls stay for awhile with these ionic curlers, though the curls will be looser on day two) or re-set with curlers. Day 3 I might just wear straight/down, comb the curls out by then. Day 4 I either wash or wear my hair up.
I really like the ionic curlers, and they are very 'in' right now. It's a nice way to add body without damaging the hair, and they hardly take any time. I will put them in, which takes a few minutes, then leave them in while I get dressed and put my makeup on. Then it takes about one minute to take them out, lightly brush them and spray, and you're off! Much easier than curling iron.
I should add that I get a lot of help from my Davines products. They are awesome, and make my hair appear very shiny and soft. They are $$$, but last a long time and are worth it, I think.How do you keep your hair style from one day to the next?

BEDHEAD makes this spray stuff called instant restyler-depending on how you do your hair style wise that works. you obviously cant have your hair stay the same way for days-otherwise you would be one of those old ladys who get their hair done once a week-teased, and alot of hairspray to look like one of the Golden Girls-and sleep sitting up. just try to touch it up day by day. thats your best bet.

Like the other girl said the mohawk is in. But you dont have to use your natural hair. You can go to a stylest and ask for a 27piece or a quick weave. This way you dont have to make permant changes to you hair. (especially color and lenth) You can have the tracks glued to your hair or either a stocking cap. I really think that crayola red hightlights look good in dark hair, i had some in high school, but always thought they looked better on girls with dark hair. Chunky high lights i think look best.
my advice is to not try and become punk. Punk is very fashionable nowadays but in reality it has history and most likely youll be called a poser and people will secretly dislike you. P.S. if you think Fall Out Boy and Blink 182 are punk you are dead wrongengine oil

What you'll want to do is take a shower the night before halloween (if you want to wear your costume all day) and put the curlers in all over your head (all of your hair should be in curlers) while your hair is still damp. Then sleep with them in, brush out your hair with, and tease it with a fine toothed comb if you want it to stand up more, and then use lots of a fine mist hairspray, like AquaNet.
If you don't want to wear the costume all day, just dampen your hair witha spray bottle of some kind, and put the rollers in and blow dry it, then repeat the last steps.
curl your top layer of hair under using the straighteners- and back comb at the roots at the underneath of this first layer.
clip this all back ontop of your head- similar to a beehive..
then all the rest of your hair clip up at the back of your head with hair grips. Use lots of hairspray and a good thin-tooth comb when your back-combing your top layer

My hair is really long, hitting my waist, and it's got long layers in it. It's super wavy naturally, when I let it air dry, and I straighten it every once in a while. I can put it in a pony tail and that's about it.

Why not try the new ';pomp'; hair style everyone seems to love now lol It can be cute with the front done up and then just put it into a pony tail in the back, it gives it a more grown up sort of look for a pony tail.
You can also put it in a pony tail to one side of your head, behind your ear and curl the ends of the hair with the curling iron to give it a different texture/look than the rest of the hair that is held in the pony.

Have you tried Knotty Boy products? Stay away from heavy conditioners because they make the hair porous, spongey. Which leads to more frizz.
Knotty Boy bar soap and leave in spray conditioner makes my baby fine curly hair so nice!
Aveda products work very well for me too but they are SO expensive!!!
I too have very curly hair and have found one of the most tried and true products to be Matrix Biolage Gelee. I have tried just about every other product on the market and have always gone back to the Biolage. Being that your hair is thin, you might have to go along the lines of Mousse though. I would try Matrix Biolage Styling Foam.

ok wat u could do is part your hair down the middle then get a thick headband the match your outfit. next you keep your hair parted and put in the headband but leave a lil bit of hair down by your ears!! i promise it will look good for any occasion!!!
