Hair styles to cover my ears?

i nearly always wear my hair down, but its getting hotter now so i will want to start tying it up .. i think it looks nice when its tied up but my ears stick out quite a lot and make me a bit self conscious..my hair is just past shoulder length and i have a full fringe - any suggestions what i could do with it so that my ears are sort of covered or something?
