Men's Hair Styles... Going from short to long.?

At the moment I have short enough hair (over 1 inch) but I'm planning on growing it roughly 4.5 - 5 inches long. I always had short hair and my problem is what way I'm going to style it.

Also do you think I will have to have thin hair for this hair style?

That hair style is fine, even for thick hair. When you go to the salon (or barbershop, but a salon might be a better option...) tell them to thin it out. They'll use a razor and just cut some of the weight off, not length. Your head will feel two pounds lighter and it makes your hair feel really soft.





I suggest letting your hair grow out for a couple of months without getting it trimmed or anything. Then when you've got some extra length to work with, get it cut into the exact style you want, rather than getting it cut a lot and having to wait longer in the long run.





Be sure to print out lots of pictures if you're not ready to describe it exactly. I always bring a page full of pictures and say, ';I want bangs like this, the back like this, the sides like this, et c.';
