blow dry to 85% dry.


put in some velcro rollers - big ones. (roll it all under, except for the crown which also goes back)


continue to blow dry completely.


take out rollers once cooled and apply a dab of pomade (finger comb thru) and don't touch it with a comb or brush.

You have probably tried the obvious hairstyles, such as curls all over the place, or straightening your hair. Look in style magazines at the shop where you got the layered look. Maybe they who helped you can give you a more personalized look.
i just had a hair cut,same problem,it only looks good when I brush it(like have it done,hair dryer and so forth) however,when i get out of the shower and put some mouse or syrum on it while it's wet,let it dry on it's own,it looks fine,try one of those hair products you put on after showering example: gel, mouse, different hair syrums (for shine or anti-frizz).
