What hair style and color should I get?

I have medium brown hair with no bangs. I want a new hair style and color. But I don't know what to do! Please give some ideas. I was thinking of dying my hair black and putting red tips on the bottom and a few red streaks, and getting layers. Any ideas?What hair style and color should I get?
