Good hair styles for a party?

Okay, so I have brown, thick(ish), long hair which is also wavy. I have a full side fringe also. I'm going to a friends party next saturday and want a hair style which can stay put whilst I'm at work before hand. I work in retail so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

try straightening it and pull it back in a sleek pony tail
little bit up and a little bit down. make sure you really play up your eyes. do the cats eye flick with eyeliner . should look stunning x
