I don't really think there is a name. Some hairstyles can only be described by how they are cut and what cultures or locales influence the style.
John Legend's hair is kept both neat and 'funky'. He keeps all of his hair the same length and this in turn makes his hair twists the same length. It gives a sort of 'messy' look while still being uniform and clean. The twists seem to be similar or inspired by Carribean style.
