Round Face Shapes

Your goal is to create less volume around the face. You also want to minimize the appearance of roundness.



Styles that are flattering and stylish: Try cuts that fall just below the chin. Curls and waves work well because they add width to the face.



Be careful with long hair -- hair that is too long like Demi Moore's can drag down the face. Long layers work best with pieces hitting at the nose, the chin and the collarbone. Heart Face Shapes

Your pointy chin tends to be the focal point of your face. Draw attention to your eyes and cheekbones instead with sideswept bangs (like Paris Hilton pictured here), brow-grazing fringe, a strong part and hair that falls at or below your jawline. Have short hair? Keep top layers soft and long. Long hair? Go for long layers that graze your cheekbones.

I know a reeeaaalll big thing know is the emo/scene hairstyles for people our age (also 16). There so versatile because you can rather go all out (streaks, weirdlayers, spikes, multicolored with colors like green and pink, etc.), or you can just get it cut with the bangs and layers so its toned down but still giving off the appearance thats what hairstyle you were going for.



Good look, Im sure whatever you try itll look great though.
