I have thick wavy hair and would like a new hair style. Any recommendations?

My hair is very fine, thick and wavy. It is at shoulder length and I would like a new style for school this year. My hair dresser doesn't recommend I get my hair layered (it becomes tricky to handel) and I don't necessarily like really short hair. layers are awesome though they may not be easy but they make thick hair less thick
maybe you can make kind of a triangular shape with your hair.



EXAMPLE: your first lock of hair is halfway down your cheek, then it gets longer in a strength line as it goes farther down the hairline. by the time it reaches the back, it long, then it starts back up the other side and it ends up like the other side, so both sides look the same. i think that's really cool

if yew dont want layered hair then there is nothing yew can do but flat iron it but it will look layme just get layers i have really short layers and i straighten my hair pretty good nd it looks awesome too
